About

Connie Sheehan, M.A., B.C.C.

After many years of experience and training, I found I prefer helping children through coaching versus therapy, as coaching focuses on the positive and present-day goals.

I am a licensed school counselor and have worked with children and families for nearly 30 years, providing therapy for all ages of youth. I have my master's degree in counseling psychology and am a board-certified life coach by the Center for Credentialing & Education. I also have been certified in child welfare and crisis prevention intervention, and have taught child development for the North Dakota State University Extension Services Child & Family Division. I have facilitated classes on discipline, child development, stress and anger management, and career pathways, and I have authored a mental health manual for the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps in St. Paul, MN. I also serve on local collegiate and community advisory boards.
